ANGUILLA–FLOW’s Country Manager, Desmond Byron welcomed invited guests to the official opening of its retail customer service Super Store on Monday, August 20. He said, “This is a testament of Cable and Wireless and FLOW’s investment in Anguilla. We have been here since October 29, 1971, and hope to be here for many years to come.”

Byron said the opening of the Super Store highlighted the company’s continued investment in its staff, infrastructure and customer base. “We’ve spent in excess of US $100,000 to modernise the store and to ensure our customers receive a first-world retail customer service experience.” He thanked the public and staff for their tolerance over the past month when daily operations were relocated to a temporary location to allow for the reconstruction. He emphasised that the entire effort and professional results had been accomplished totally by local contractors.

“I am extremely proud of the company and its investment and continued interest in Anguilla and its growth and development,” said Minister of Infrastructure, Communications, Housing and Utilities, Curtis Richardson during his official remarks. “You have remained an inextricable part of the lives of the people of Anguilla and the way that we live.”

The public was encouraged to explore the new services and products being offered at the Super Store. Among the many upgrades highlighted were the reduced “paper for print” improvements as the company strives to become more environmentally friendly, as well as the expansion of underground cabling to private homes. Following the official ribbon cutting, the staff spent time with guests demonstrating and explaining the new products and improved capabilities found in the store.
