Three young St. Martiners were presented with brand-new crash helmets by the Gendarmerie and Police Territorial at the kiosk on Rue Coralita, French Quarter, on Friday. The French Quarter insertion association Centre Symphorien d’Insertion (CSI) has collaborated with the Gendarmerie on a road safety awareness programme, “Never without my Helmet.”
One of the programme’s incentives is a helmet design competition in which young people can win a prize. Thanks to sponsors, two to three crash helmets are donated to young persons each month. More photos on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/CSIQuartierDOrleans/
