AIRPORT–Due to increasing world oil prices, local airline Windward Islands Airways International Winair will reintroduce the fuel surcharge on all tickets sold for travel commencing April 10. These fuel charges are NAf. 6 or US $3.30 per segment.
Winair had eliminated all fuel surcharges as the world oil prices decreased on March 1, 2016. In a short statement, the company said, “We will continue to monitor world fuel prices and adjust these surcharges accordingly.”
