Fun Miles launches new campaign and slogan

PHILIPSBURG–Customer reward programme Fun Miles has launched a new campaign as well as its new slogan both called “Explore the Fun.”

The campaign is being held with the participation of most of its 100 plus Fun Miles partners on four islands.

The centrepiece of the campaign is a free glossy magazine that offers cardholders an overview of the Fun Partners and the “fun possibilities” they offer for saving and redeeming Fun Miles.

“What makes this campaign unique is that the magazine (available at the partners) also contains dozens of attractive special offers per island, as well as seven clues hidden in the pages, which will allow cardholders to win an unforgettable trip to an exciting mystery destination,” Fun Miles said in a press release on Tuesday.

The Explore the Fun campaign, which will be running until the end of August, celebrates a complete rejuvenation of the Fun Miles brand and takes its name from the new slogan, which is also Explore the Fun.

The Explore the Fun magazine (published in four versions for Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and St. Maarten) offers cover-to-cover value, Fun Miles said. There are dozens of specials, ranging from discounts to the option to earn double or triple Fun Miles, and even opportunities to get free Fun Miles without purchasing anything. There are also plenty of tips (fun life hacks) to make the Fun Miles experience as enjoyable as it can be.

For added excitement, seven secret clues are scattered throughout the magazine. By finding them and piecing them together, readers (not just Fun Miles cardholders) stand to win an all-expenses paid trip for two to an exciting, adventurous location. The nature of this destination is exactly what the readers have to guess. The prize drawing will take place in the first week of September.

The Explore the Fun campaign marks the kick-off of the fully rejuvenated Fun Miles brand. After 13 years of “Fun within your reach,” the new slogan will be “Explore the Fun!” which represents the array of fun things that the Fun Miles card lets cardholders discover and enjoy at the Fun Partners. “A new visual style, upcoming new website, new jingle and updated Fun App will also be introduced. Fun Miles is bigger, more enthusiastic and more confident about the future than ever,” Fun Miles said.

Fun Miles said it has more than 100,000 cardholders. “Just for shopping at the island’s finest companies (the Fun Partners), they are rewarded with free Fun Miles that are redeemable for clothing, groceries, travel, dining, event tickets, hardware, building materials, gasoline and much more. It has become easy to lose track of all the possibilities, which is why the Explore the Fun magazine and campaign provide an excellent bird’s eye view of all the partners and what they have to offer. This provides cardholders with fresh inspiration on how and where to enjoy Fun Miles to the fullest,” the release said.
