Nighttime road patching work in Cole Bay commenced after sundown on Thursday.
The Ministry of Infrastructure shifted the work to nighttime though much more costly to taxpayers due to the immense traffic jams it caused during the day.
Despite the daytime work stoppage, traffic was still a beat faster than snail’s pace in daylight hours due to the sections of cutaway asphalt. (John Halley photo)
