Koop Avond (Shopping Night) came to its culmination last night with a bang: live music and entertainment, speeches by dignitaries, food, drinks and specialty products by local vendors. Koop Avond, a free event bringing life to Philipsburg at night presented by Xtratight Entertainment, kicked off this year on July 4. The music line-up included Kajam Quartet, SMS Experience Band, Sweet Pan Entertainment, GNS Brass Band and none other than International Zouk artiste Jean Marc Ferdinand. Pictured: Youmain Dormoy and New Generation Status Drum band kick off the evening with a performance.
