Recently appointed Chief Prosecutor Jeroen Steenbrink made a personal donation to Safe Haven Foundation SXM on Thursday.
On his departure from the Netherlands, instead of receiving a farewell gift, Steenbrink asked his former colleagues, chain partners and invited guests at the farewell party to assist an organisation in St. Maarten with a monetary donation. Steenbrink chose to assist Safe Haven Foundation with US $15,080. Foundation Director Cassandra Richardson expressed heartfelt gratitude for this contribution which will be used to assist the women at the home with their legal battles.
