Indian merchants give relief

The Indian Merchants Association (IMA), in a short span of time and with the help of volunteers from the Indian community, managed to pack more than 500 relief bags for the families in various districts that are in dire need due to Hurricane Irma.

The bags consisted of basic food necessities such as oil, flour, rice, cans of beans, chicken, beef, salmon, etc. The IMA went to several districts and walked to various houses distributing these bags which were graciously welcomed by all.

“We thank each and every one of our volunteers who devoted their time in making this project go smoothly. We are thankful to Prime Distributors for their generous contribution and support and for being a huge part of this initiative. Together we can make this island even more beautiful and stronger,” stated in association.
