A prisoner was shot dead by another inmate just after 9:00am in Pointe Blanche Prison. The victim was said to be Omar Jones. He was shot in the back, head and neck.
There was no immediate word on the shooter or the firearm used. Ambulance personnel applied CPR in an effort to save the detainee’s life, but to no avail.
The body is still at the complex and detectives are investigating inside. Questions were already being asked as to how a loaded gun gets into the hands of a prisoner.

How the hell can an inmate be shot dead in prison?!!! Didn’t they have large controls just recently?
I thought we had dogs that could sniff guns, why don’t they used them at the prison? The problems that we are facing are not of lack of resources they are lack of proper management and use of the resources.
