InselAir plane returned to St. Maarten after take-off | THE DAILY HERALD

AIRPORT–The InselAir flight 7I 512 from St. Maarten to Curaçao returned to Princess Juliana International Airport early Wednesday afternoon.
According to the operations tower at the airport, the pilots of the Fokker 50 saw an indication that the engine was running hot. They followed the procedure that is prescribed by the manufacturer and shut down the engine as a precaution and landed the aircraft safely.
According to the airline, passengers on board were provided with hotel accommodations, transportation and meals and will transported back to Curaçao on other flights as soon as possible.
