KPSM said KMar personnel are assisting the police force with ongoing controls aimed at reducing criminal activity and strengthening public safety. The police force warned that anyone found in possession of an illegal firearm will be arrested and the weapon confiscated.

KPSM also cautioned that firearms can turn disagreements into deadly confrontations, while careless handling can result in accidental discharge, serious injury or loss of life. The joint operations will continue in the coming period. KPSM has asked motorists and other road users to cooperate with officers and follow their instructions during the controls.
