PHILIPSBURG–Two-time Power Soca winner King Verse has teamed up with Fun Miles and is now the establishment’s official brand ambassador.
In the coming months, the celebrated artist will share his adventures with Fun Miles across all media. He will explain how the Fun Miles reward points work and how they provide extra spending power.
“After all, Fun Miles can be saved for free and then redeemed for a wide range of products and services, such as flight tickets, fashion, fuel, building materials, restaurant visits and more,” Fun Miles said in a press release on Monday. “This is reflected in the campaign’s motto: Who needs money when you’ve got Fun Miles?”
Fun Miles is a reward points programme. Consumers earn Fun Miles by making purchases at one of the many partner companies. The saved Fun Miles have actual value, just like a currency. They can be redeemed for free products and services from those same partners, such as Travel Planners, St. Maarten Building Supplies, InselAir, Intertoys, Kooyman, Quiznos, United Telecommunications Services (UTS) and others. Customers can check funmiles.net for a full overview.
“The new campaign shows that Fun Miles is working hard for its partners and cardholders on St. Maarten. Fun Miles is committed to keep bringing the community plenty of fun to explore and enjoy. This is why, for example, it was a proud sponsor of the Heineken Regatta, and recently introduced exciting new partners such as Rainforest Adventures and Tempo Sint Maarten.”
Fun Miles said its goal is to make it extra attractive for consumers to shop at specific companies, because these companies will reward them with Fun Miles. “Joining Fun Miles is also interesting for the businesses themselves, because it will help them build stronger relationships with clients.”
Fun Miles is active on four islands and “has proven to effectively increase customer loyalty for over 20 years,” the release said.
Persons can become a Fun Miles member for US $3. A Fun Miles card is available at most participating companies. After the one-time-only fee for the card, there is no other cost for using Fun Miles. New cardholders can start saving miles right away. After registering the card online (fast, free and easy) they can also start redeeming.
Additional information can be obtained by calling Fun Miles customer service at tel. 543-3301, visiting funmiles.net, or going to
