MARIGOT–The Maritime School of the West Indies (MSW) in St. Martin/ St. Maarten has announced the dates for the last two courses of this year’s 2019 Caribbean yachting season.

The upcoming 6-day Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) and world-wide- recognized Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW 2010) course will start on Monday, May 13, and finish Saturday, May 18.

The REFRESHER STCW 2010 will be instructed that same week, so crew members who want to follow the refresher need to contact the school, so that Veerle Rolus, the school’s principal, can check which courses and on which dates during that week they are instructed.

The MCA and world-wide-recognized Small Powerboat and RIB Level Two + VHF Course will start Thursday, May 16. The MSW school is also running the last aviation safety courses for pilots during the same week.

Please call Veerle on (+590690) 26.68.62 or (+596) 69.62.61 or e-mail: to enrol, and subscribe as soon as possible if you want to attend a course as they will most likely be fully booked again and there is only limited space available.
