Philipsburg Jubilee Library raised NAf. 733.62 during its annual book sale, which was held this year on Saturday, November 4.
The funds raised will be used for new materials and activities hosted by the Library. The special book sale was intended to bring back some normalcy to the library and her faithful patrons. Library staff and management were heartened to see many friendly faces after the catastrophe that Hurricane Irma brought to St. Maarten and its Library. Staff members handed out cupcakes as a token of appreciation to visitors, who came in abundance. The Library staff welcomed their supporters and hope to see them all back in the Library soon.
