Methodist Agogic Centre celebrated its 43rd anniversary on March 8 with all the schools from Early Stimulation Centre to the Comprehensive Secondary Education section at L.B. Scott Sports Auditorium under the theme “Lengthening our Cords and Strengthening our Stakes” (Isaiah 54:2).
The day’s proceedings were guided by the Master of Ceremonies Rev. E. Lloyd Brisset, previous Chairman and current member of the School Board. It was a fun-filled morning filled with reflections of the past 43 years, celebrations and accomplishments. Minister of Education Wycliffe Smith addressed the gathering of parents, teachers, board members and pupils/students. He pointed out his involvement with the institution from its inception and was happy to remind the gathering that he is the Sports Day Patron for Smith House; Yellow House. He commended the institution for providing quality education to the children and parents of the island.
