Man issued fine for sex in public | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–Detectives of the Juvenile and Morals Department of the St. Maarten Police Force KPSM received an explicit video clip of three persons publicly engaged in sexual acts on the balcony of their apartment building on Wednesday, July 31.

The incident took place at approximately 5:00am and could be clearly seen by anyone passing by, including children.

“This type of behaviour is immoral and disrespectful in our society and will not be tolerated,” the police said in a statement on Friday.

Detectives immediately searched and located the main suspect in this case. He was questioned and given a hefty fine.

The police made it known that sexual acts should be kept totally private and should not be exposed to the public.

“This type of immoral behaviour is in violation of the law. Anyone who does not adhere to these laws will suffer legal consequences,” the police said.
