PHILIPSBURG–Meadowlands B.V. has partnered with Cadwell Inc. in Florida for the transportation of waste and recyclable materials out of St. Maarten.
Meadowlands B.V. Managing Director Gregory Richardson announced the partnership between the two companies in a press release on Monday.
“Meadowlands is pleased to partner with Cadwell Inc. We have all agreed that it will be a strategic partnership to remove waste and recyclable materials out of St. Maarten,” Richardson said. “Meadowlands’ mission aligns with Cadwell Inc., and that is to provide the best waste management services to the community and to ensure a clean and greener St. Maarten for current and future generations.”
Cadwell Inc. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andrew Cadwell said the company is happy that Meadowlands B.V. has taken this initiative to create a solid foundation in the recycling operations.
“There’s so much that can be done to remove the waste that is currently on the island. Meadowlands has the structure and team in place to make this recycling initiative and process succeed in St. Maarten,” Cadwell said. “If other stakeholders and the government of St. Maarten would join Meadowlands B.V. on this campaign, Cadwell Inc. will play a vital role in removing all waste on the landfill.”
