Medical school gives | THE DAILY HERALD

American University of the Caribbean (AUC) School of Medicine presented grants to 11 local organisations earlier this week.

AUC’s parent company Adtalem Global Education and its institutions in the Caribbean invest more than US $250,000 annually in island community organisations and programmes. Receiving grants were Artcraft Café Foundation/The Waste Factory; Community Outreach Mentorship and Empowerment Foundation (COME); Diabetes Foundation of Sint Maarten; I Can Foundation; K1 Britannia Foundation; Court of Guardianship; Mental Health Foundation (MHF); Positive Foundation; Safe Haven Foundation; St. Maarten AIDS Foundation and Windward Island Emergency Medical Services (WIEMS).
