MADAME ESTATE–Persons who always wanted to meet Canadian YouTube personality Latoya Forever and her husband Adam Ali, a fitness vlogger, will get a chance to do so at a meet and greet event this Wednesday, July 19, at University of St. Martin (USM), from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
The meet and greet is organised by St. Maarten Cable TV in collaboration with St. Maarten Tourist Bureau (STB). Prior to the Meet and Greet, there will be a “Let’s Talk Social Media,” question and answer session from 2:30pm to 4:00pm at USM. For this event, interested persons will have to register with Facebook.com/stmaartentourism
Ali is a fitness vlogger best known for his I Won’t Lose YouTube channel where he seeks to inspire his audience to reach their fitness goals. He launched his online I Won’t Lose campaign in 2011, which included his website and YouTube channel. He and his wife LaToya welcomed a daughter named Samia in 2014 and a son named Zayn in 2016.
Forever is a popular YouTube personality who frequently features Ask Latoya: Q&A, Outfit of the Day, topical, parody, and relationship videos on her self-titled channel. She started creating online content in early 2009, using her charisma, wit, candidness, and vibrant personality to connect with subscribers. She first used YouTube as a means to express herself by recording an open diary series.
“Our channel provider Gulfcom, which also provides us Gone Viral TV (GVTV), Ch. 284, on our line-up, works with Latoya on their platform for the past year, has offered us the opportunity to bring Latoya back to St. Maarten,” St. Maarten Cable TV Managing Director Beulah Jonis said in a press release.
“Latoya has a big following on social media and we thought it would be an opportunity to do more than just the Meet and Greet. We approached the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau to see if they wanted to collaborate in doing a session with Latoya and her husband to talk about their experience on vlogging/blogging and social media,” Jonis added.
During the Meet and Greet, persons in attendance will have the opportunity to take pictures.
