AIRPORT–The dozens of protestors who rhythmically chanted “Who got to go? Mingo!” during a demonstration on July 1, 2020, have finally gotten their wish, as Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) holding company PJIAH handed PJIA operating company PJIAE chief executive officer (CEO) Brian Mingo his walking papers at a shareholders meeting on Wednesday.
The Daily Herald understands that PJIAH dismissed Mingo on Wednesday, reportedly for non-performance. He has been given two months’ notice and will have to vacate the post by June 6. PJIAH has also relieved Mingo of his duties during this two-month period, placing him on a type of non-active status.
It is unclear what will happen in the interim, and who will be taking up Mingo’s management duties.
This newspaper contacted Mingo on Thursday afternoon for comment. He said that he will not be making an official statement at this time. Efforts to call PJIAH managing director Dexter Doncher on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning proved futile. Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT) Ludmila de Weever has also yet to offer comment on the issue.

We, the people, want him convicted for ALL his criminal offenses. And a life-long prohibition of any government linked job.
And what about jail? Also with 2 months notice, so he can escape to a country with which we do not have an extradition treaty? I thought that it is a crime to accept bribes.
But apparently, he knows too much about the other bribes government members have received.
Yep, that’s the game of our politicians and their collaborators.
