PHILIPSBURG–More vendors and activity providers are called on to sign up for the St. Maarten/St. Martin Annual Regional Tradeshow (SMART).
Tradeshow organisers said on Wednesday they seek to expand opportunities for island businesses at SMART. More space has been made available for vendors on the exhibition floor at The Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort and Spa where the tradeshow will be held in June.
For local businesses, SMART provides an opportunity to network with regional hotels and tour operators, said organisers. Vendors display products of use for the hospitality sector. In the past, vendor stands had contributions from telecom products, furniture, to food and beverage products. The vendor displays are amidst the busy hallways where, the already more than 120 registrants will pass.
SMART is organized by L’Association des Hoteliers de St. Martin AHSM, St. Martin Tourism Office in conjunction with St. Maarten Tourist Bureau and St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA).
