Motor bikers return to a hero’s welcome | THE DAILY HERALD

ST. EUSTATIUS—Two local motor bikers who travelled to Guadalupe to take part in the 400-meter motorcycle competition returned Monday afternoon.

Carl “Atin” Spanner out of Statia is the owner of the bike that won the Sunday. Spanner’s bike was ridden by Titi Hodge who hails from St. Maarten.
Denicio Spanner also competed but did not make the podium.
The pair along with their team returned to the island and were greeted by loud cheers and screams from their family, friends and wellwishers.
The team that travelled with the riders consisted of Kenny Courtar, Linroy Smith and Rutherford Spanner.
