MPs and Geerlings to talk tax reform status today | THE DAILY HERALD



PHILIPSBURG–The status of reforming the country’s outdated tax system will be the topic of discussion in an urgent plenary session of Parliament today, Tuesday, at 2:00pm.

Finance Minister Perry Geerlings was called to the legislature on the request of Members of Parliament (MPs) Silveria Jacobs, Christophe Emmanuel and Jurendy Doran of National Alliance and Frans Richardson of United St. Maarten Party.

The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, SXM GOV radio 107.9FM, Pearl Radio 98.1FM, , and of Sint Maarten.
