MPs continue talks today on Corallo verdict repercussions | THE DAILY HERALD

 

PHILIPSBURG–Members of Parliament (MPs) will continue their discussions on the repercussions of the verdict by the European Court of Human Rights in the Francesco Corallo case, for St. Maarten and the Ministry of Justice during a public plenary session of Parliament today, Monday, November 12, at 11:00am.

Justice Minister Cornelius de Weever will be present at the meeting. The meeting, which was adjourned on November 5, was requested by United Democrats (UD) MPs Theo Heyliger, Chanel Brownbill and Sidhart “Cookie” Bijlani.

The public can follow the deliberations in person at the House of Parliament located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.

The sessions will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, 107.9fm, 98.1fm, www.sxmparliament.org; www.pearlfmradio.com and Parliament’s Facebook page: Parliament of Sint Maarten.
