PHILIPSBURG–Members of Parliament (MPs) will return to the topics of changes to the National Ordinance on Land Taxes in connection with international obligations, and amendments to the 2017 capital expenditures budget in Parliament House today, Thursday, at 2:00pm.
The Central Committee meeting originally started on May 15, but was suspended to give Finance Minister Mike Ferrier time to research information to answer questions posed by MPs.
Another Central Committee sitting will precede the one at 2:00pm. This 11:00am meeting will focus on the status of the reconstruction of Princess Juliana International Airport. The airport meeting was requested by United Democrats MPs Chanel Brownbill, Franklin Meyers, and Sidharth “Cookie” Bijlani.
