MPs to discuss situation at Philipsburg landfill today

PHILIPSBURG–Members of Parliament (MPs) will discuss the situation at the Philipsburg landfill during an urgent meeting of the Central Committee today, Wednesday, February 7, at 11:30am.

Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs Leona Romeo-Marlin, Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labour VSA Emil Lee and Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI Miklos Giterson will be present for the meeting.

On the agenda is a discussion about the current situation at the dump, including possible solutions.

The public can follow the parliamentary deliberations in person at the House of Parliament across from the Courthouse in Philipsburg.
