MPs to resume meeting on airport reconstruction status | THE DAILY HERALD


PHILIPSBURG–Members of Parliament (MPs) will continue the Central Committee meeting about Princess Juliana International Airport’s reconstruction status post-Hurricane Irma with Tourism, Economic Affairs and Transportation Minister Stuart Johnson in Parliament House today, Tuesday, at 2:00pm.

The meeting was suspended on June 14 to give the minister ample time to gather information to answer questions posed by MPs.

The status meeting was requested by MPs Chanel Brownbill, Franklin Meyers and Sidharth “Cookie” Bijlani of United Democrats.

The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, Pearl Radio FM 98.1, SXMGOV Radio 107.9FM, , and of Sint Maarten.
