PHILIPSBURG–Just three days into the five-day SXM Music Festival and close to 3,000 visitors are in St. Maarten/St. Martin to experience the third annual event.

Festival attendees were informed via letter that the island is fully operational and if there are any hiccups, they should keep in mind that the island was nearly wiped out by Hurricanes Irma and Maria back in 2017.

Visitors are encouraged to tour St. Maarten/St. Martin and take advantage of the many services the island has to offer.

The festival ends on March 19 and organisers are calling out residents to come and experience the events.
