WILLEMSTAD--Nathan Engelhardt was declared winner of the “Bos di Kunuku Festival” 2026. During the 16th edition of the cultural event, held on March 28 at Kunuku di Shon Mi in Ser’i Dòmi, he took home the top prize.

In addition, Engelhardt won awards for best text and best male cultural costume, and together with his group Zebe provided the best musical accompaniment.

The harvest song contest held by Fundashon JAG featured eight participants. According to the organisation, the young artists delivered performances of an exceptionally high standard.

During the evening, a special tribute was also paid to Hermanito Narvaez, to whom this edition was dedicated.

Queenshadee Pieternella finished as fist runner-up and won the prize for best female cultural costume. Ray-Johnelly Sophia became second runner-up and was named the most popular and dynamic singer of the evening. Thyshon Cathalina completed the podium as the third runner-up.

Afterwards, organisers expressed great satisfaction with the enthusiasm of the participants and the continued growth of the festival under the leadership of Fundashon JAG.
