Great turnout at Dinghy Dock for Nature Foundation fundraiser.
SIMPSON BAY–The Beer Fest held on October 28 was a success thanks to the efforts of Presidente, distributed by CC1 SXM, in conjunction with Dinghy Dock. The event raised $4,800 in donations for the Nature Foundation. The aim of the fundraiser was to aid in the replanting of coral reefs and the goal was exceeded.
The entire Dinghy Dock staff donated their salaries and tips for the day. There were also donations from donors abroad in the United States. The night exceeded the expectations of everyone involved.
CC1 thanked the donors and supporters of the event, everyone who bought and cane out to experience a new type of event.
Beer Fest was held as a night to discover the flavours of more than 150 beers the bar offers. Dinghy Dock is pet- and people-friendly, so the staff encouraged everyone to bring their animals along for a good cause.
Thanks to all the businesses that donated premium prizes for the event, the raffle tickets were sold in abundance. CC1 and Dinghy Dock mentioned Oyster Bay Beach Resort, La Patrona Restaurant, Ocean Explorer, Island 92, Gigi’s Organic Restaurant, Pineapple Pete, The Body Spa, Great Bay Express and the Nature Foundation itself for providing additional assistance.
