Artcraftcafe, which was located at Old Street shopping mall prior to Hurricane Irma, reopened at its new location at Front Street #3, next to the iStore, on St. Maarten Day, Saturday, November 11.
The opening of artist Tess Verheij’s new art gallery and art school was celebrated with some of her young budding artists creating lampoons and with a parade. The art school was severely damaged by Hurricane Irma. The school’s quick restart at a new prime location was made possible with financial support by Prince Bernhard Culture Fund Caribbean Territory.
