New bankruptcy request for Insel

ARUBA–After an Aruban company requested the bankruptcy of InselAir Aruba in vain a week ago, that same party has now filed for the bankruptcy of InselAir International in Curaçao, according to website .

In Aruba the court gave InselAir Aruba bankruptcy protection with a stay of payments until June 7 this year. NoticiaCla also reported on this earlier.

According to the news site, it is not known if the court in Curaçao will allow such a move. The same lawyers went to Curaçao for the case.

There are indications that the court in Willemstad will go the same route as the one in Aruba by granting the Dutch Caribbean carrier bankruptcy protection. The judge can also order the airline to pay its debt or declare it insolvent.
