Ten lucky children won bicycles during Friday’s cycle-thon, which started at F.D. Roosevelt Airport in St. Eustatius and ended at Sandy Road. Children between the ages of five and 12 took part in the race which was organised by Dwayne Lindo, Marietza Patrick, Lenaria Brown, Iligia Jones and Minushka Woodley. Walters Construction sponsored the 10 bikes that were to be won during the race. DJ Rock kept the crowd entertained during the cycle-thon and the race as well as during the barbecue which took place after the event.
