New Rotarians

Rotary Club of St. Maarten-Mid Isle inducted two new members at a recent Rotary gathering. Rotarian Louis Wever sponsored Richard Panneflek, a civil servant in the Justice Ministry, for membership into Mid-Isle. Panneflek has lived in St. Maarten for more than 30 years and has been a civil servant with the ministry for 30 years, most of which has been spent in law enforcement. He is now head of the Admittance and Residency organisation. He has more than 15 years’ experience in other community-service organisations. Rotarian Aernout Kraaijeveld sponsored Dr. Sonia Swanston-Meade, a general practitioner at Family Medical Practice and a board member at Mental Health Foundation, for membership into Mid-Isle. The Rotarians of Mid-Isle welcomed these two members into the fold and look forward to working with them.
