PHILIPSBURG–In celebration of its 29th anniversary, Office World donated school supplies to founder of Girls on the Move St. Maarten Geraldine Benders on Saturday, October 20.

The school supplies received will be given to the Foundation of Academic and Vocational Education Foundation (FAVE) which is the school board for the academic and the Preparatory Secondary Vocational Education (PSVE) sections of St. Maarten Academy. Many students, who are unable to purchase school supplies will be happy to receive these donations. “It’s all about helping people,” it was stated in a press statement on Monday.

Benders thanked the company’s management and staff for providing the community with office and school supplies for the last 29 years. She has also been a loyal customer of Office World since she was nine years old and is “highly impressed” that after 11 years on the island, “the company still stands strong and remained the number one office supply superstore offering its products and delivery services.”

Office World Managing Director Nash Daryanani said he supported the further improvement of the quality of education and thanked the community for their valued patronage over the past 29 years and for their support in the future.
