Parking restrictions in place for Billfish tournament, Culinary Fair | THE DAILY HERALD

MARIGOT–In connection with organisation of the upcoming 2018 St. Martin Billfish Tournament organised by St. Martin Sport Fishing Association in collaboration with Association Caribbean Flavours Entertainment, which will be simultaneously holding a “Heroes Event” Culinary Fair, certain streets on the Marigot waterfront will be temporarily closed.

From Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 7:00am, 13 parking spaces located on the street parallel to Marché Alimentaire (sea side, opposite fish market) will be reserved exclusively for the organising committee until the end of the event.

From Thursday, June 21, 2018 at noon to Saturday June 23, 2018, at 11:30pm: Rue de l’Embarcadère including the former restaurant “Enoch’s Place” until the end of the street parallel to the Food Market (sea side, up to Mini-Club roundabout) will be closed to traffic.

Parking of any vehicle will be prohibited in the above street portion. The small street between the local restaurants and the old taxi station will be kept open to traffic throughout the event.

From Friday, June 22, at 9:00am to Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:30pm the portion of the Boulevard de France between Restaurant “Le Bistrot de la Mer” and the roundabout “Mini Club” will be closed to traffic and parking.

No vehicle exits from Rue de l’Anguille on Boulevard de France will be authorised; safety barriers will be installed at the end of the two ends of the street – Happy Shop and insurance company Allianz. Vehicles using Rue des Pêcheurs on Boulevard de France must bypass the Mini-Club roundabout towards Rue Morne Rond.
