Parliament meets about Postal Services today at 2:00pm   | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–Parliament meets in a public sitting on today, Monday, at 2:00pm about Postal Services St. Maarten (PSS). Prime Minister/General Affairs Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin will be present to answer questions on the topic.

  Up for discussion are the position of government on the future, immediate and long-term plans regarding PSS and the effect it will have on the employees. The meeting was requested by Members of Parliament Ardwell Irion, Egbert Doran, Christophe Emmanuel, Silveria Jacobs, and William Marlin of the National Alliance and Frans Richardson and Rolando Brison of the United St. Maarten Party.

  The parliamentary session will be live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, SXM GOV radio FM 107.9, Pearl Radio FM 98.1, www.sxmparliament.org, www.pearlfmradio.sx and Facebook.com/Parliament of Sint Maarten.
