A man was injured by an oncoming vehicle in Cole Bay on Saturday morning. The man was seen on the ground and onlookers assisted him before ambulance workers arrived to transport him to St. Maarten Medical Center for further treatment.
Police came shortly afterward and started their investigation. Officers questioned the driver of the vehicle that hit the man to find out what took place. There has been no word from the police about the event on Saturday morning, but the incident caused a traffic jam.
