PHILIPSBURG–Presidente Summer Fest, a musical event featuring a line-up of local and international artistes, will be held in Festival Village today, Friday, and international artistes have been arriving throughout the week. Thirteen local acts are set to light up the El Emporio Entertainment and Presidente Beer event.

The fest follows previous events – Presidente Music Vybes Festival and Soak’A Fete last year. The line-up will include performances by Solo Kween, Ashandi, Erika Dyme, General Pye, D. Kullus, DJ Outkast, DJ Big Boss, DJ Maestro, DJ Lil R, Skinny Fabulous (St. Vincent), Mr. Killa (Grenada), Jahyanai and Bamby (France), Nessa Preppy and Voice GBM Nutron (Trinidad), Ding Dong and Elephant Man (Jamaica) and much more.

The Summer Fest starts at 8:00pm and has a cover charge of US $25 in advance at Tech Hub, Picture this Studio, Abu G’s in Madame Estate, Chamoz Bar and Grill, Youth Radio Station 92.5FM, DJ Hurricane and the promo car. VIP tickets cost US $80 each, including unlimited free drinks and close stage viewing. Tickets at the gate will cost more. Tickets are also available at Domino’s Pizza for $20 with the purchase of a pizza combo.

CC1 St. Maarten reminds patrons to save the ticket stub at the Village for chances to win an all-expense paid trip for two to the Dominican Republic, a weekend stay at Oyster Bay Beach Resort or free Presidente Beer for a year.
