Plates for paws

Animal Welfare Foundation calls on all vehicle owners to donate their old licence plates to help raise funds for its ongoing spay and neuter programmes. As in past years, the plates will be sold at the Foundation’s Mutt Hut as a unique St. Maarten souvenir to cruise ship and stayover visitors.

Every year, motorists are required to pay their road tax and with payment a new set of plates is received. The old ones are often discarded, but the Foundation has been collecting as many as possible over the years to help with its fundraising efforts.

Licence plates can be dropped off at the Mutt Hut in Chesterfield’s parking lot on days cruise ships are in port or at any Domino’s Pizza locations.
