PM inspires kids | THE DAILY HERALD

Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin read a story to Group 8 pupils at Sister Borgia Primary School in Philipsburg last Wednesday.

She read the story “The Wonderful Underwater Machine” by Josephine Edgar, which was selected by a pupil from the book “Castles of Sand.” At the end of the story, pupils were allowed to ask the Prime Minister any questions they had. Some of the questions included how she became the PM and whether she was the youngest PM. She answered the questions and encouraged pupils to persevere in their studies. “Stick with it and don’t give up,” she said. Photo shows the pupils with Romeo-Marlin.
