ANGUILLA—The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) have arrested 46 year old Verne Oflaherty of Stoney Ground for the murder of Sulamita Fleming-Concepcion of South Hill whose body was found at Shoal Bay on December 5 2017.
Olfahery appeared before the Magistrate on Wednesday March 28 charged with the offence. He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until he is scheduled to return to court on June 26 to answer to the charge.
The police also arrested 43 year old Craig Hodge of North Side for possession and cultivation of cannabis. He appeared before the Magistrate on Tuesday March 27 and was offered bail in the sum of EC$35,000 with one surety. He was remanded to prison until the bail conditions are met and is due back in court on Thursday 24th May to answer to the charges.
On Monday 26th March, the police arrested and charged 25 year old Earlson Tavenier of East End with theft of a bicycle and possession of cannabis. The alleged offender appeared before the Magistrate on Tuesday 27th March and was offered bail in the sum of EC $50,000.00 with one surety. He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until the bail conditions can be met. He is due back in court on Tuesday 22nd May to answer to the charges.
