PHILIPSBURG–The Police Force announced on Friday that in connection with the large number of unclaimed scooters and motorcycles that were confiscated by police for traffic violations or for other investigations, dates and times have been set for the owners of the vehicles to come forward and claim them.
These dates are Wednesday and Thursday, August 22 and 23. The times are 11:00am to 2:00pm. It will not be possible to claim any of these scooters or motorcycles on any other dates or at any other times.
Only those persons with valid documents to prove ownership can claim their scooter or motorcycle, according to police. Persons claiming any scooter or motorcycle without any valid documents will not be eligible to receive any of these vehicles.
The scooters and motorcycles that are not claimed will be disposed in an appropriate manner.
