PHILIPSBURG–In connection with the ongoing “Mars” investigation involving Luis David Sarante-Diaz, also known as “Blanco,” and Erwin Rosario Contreras, also known as “Eggy,” who went missing on Monday, December 5, 2016, after they entered a hotel room at Simpson Bay Resort and Marina and have never been heard from since, the investigating team is asking the public for information concerning an old green Dodge Caravan with a broken window on the driver’s side.
This vehicle was seen on the premises of the hotel on that date and most probably was used in the two men’s disappearance.
Suspects T.F. and K.K. are currently in pre-trial detention. The trial date is set for Wednesday, September 20.
Anyone having information about the Dodge Caravan is asked to call the Criminal Intelligence Department, the police hotline 911 or the anonymous tip line 9300, or to e-mail
tips@policesxm.sx .
Police say the information will be highly appreciated and will be dealt with in total confidentially.
