Debris, soil and rocks washed down in the weekend’s rainstorm have further clogged this gutter on L.B. Scott Road.
The blockage has caused water to back up and overflow onto the heavily-trafficked road. The blockage is of concern for residents and motorists in light of the heavy rain advisory issued by the Meteorological Department on Monday afternoon. The overflowing water has also contributed to an immense crater in the road that some people describe as big enough to swallow a small car. (John Halley photos)
