President of the National Red Cross, Professor Jean-Jacques Eledjam.
MARIGOT–President of the French National Red Cross, Professor Jean-Jacques Eledjam, will be visiting Guadeloupe and St. Martin from November 11 to 14, 2017.
The purpose of his visit is to launch additional post hurricane actions and reinforce the engagement of the Red Cross in its recovery efforts. He will meet with institutional partners on both islands to review activities and establish the needs of the Red Cross, as well as assuring solidarity and support from the national headquarters.
In addition, he will thank all the Red Cross teams for their hard work and commitment following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
His visit begins in Guadeloupe on Sunday, November 12, where he will meet volunteers and professionals to establish their immediate needs and with persons impacted by Hurricane Maria.
He will be in St. Martin on Monday, November 13, from 9:00am to 2:30pm when he will meet elected officials, partners and Red Cross teams working in the field.
