Presidente ‘We Jamming still’ benefit concert this Sunday

CAY HILL–Presidente Beer distributer CC1 announced this past weekend that it will host a free Benefit concert with a line-up of local and International  performers set to take the stage on Sunday, October 22.

  Proceeds of Presidente beer sold during this event will be donated to various foundations in St. Maarten that have been instrumental and providing much needed relief to the communities throughout St. Maarten, including St. Maarten Youth Brigade, Red Cross and K1 Britannia Foundation.

  This event is being coordinated through Kalaboom Events, WeCanGive Foundation, Buccaneer Beach Bar and Presidente.

  “Following a month of devastation and picking up the pieces , the people of St. Maarten are ready for and deserve a hyper-powered day of entertainment and this event promises to deliver,” stated Presidente in a press release Saturday.

 The line-up will include performances by King Verse, King James, King Rumer, and DJ Blaze, DJ EM, DJ Vybz, DJ Lil R and MCSoHype, and Trilogy out of St.Maarten, Exodus HD from Anguilla and Ultimate Rejects out of Trinidad and Tobago with their hit single “We Jamming still… .”

  The “We Jamming Still” concert will take place at Buccaneer Beach Bar on Kim Sha Beach in Simpson Bay starting at 2:00pm. There will be no cover charge.

  “Be there early to get your wristband, as Presidente will be giving away an all-expense-paid trip for two to travel to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to attend the Presidente Festival from November 3-6 along with world renowned artists such as Justin Timberlake, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, J Balvin and Maluma, and many more.

  “The WeCanGive Foundation alongside St.Maarten Youth Brigade, Red Cross, K1 Britannia will be present at the event and will be able to accept any kind of donations, whether it is monetary, clothing, food, or drinking supplies to be distributed to various locations where needed on the island of St. Maarten.

  “We do advise each and every one to carpool as much as possible due to limited parking in the area. Sponsoring partners for this event are Buccaneer Beach Bar, Port de Plaisance, VIP Security, Quality Sweepers and the VKS,” stated Presidente.
