POND ISLAND–The Legal Affairs and Interior Affairs Departments are working on the national ordinance to formally establish the National Recovery Bureau through which the country’s rebuilding projects will be funnelled to the World Bank.
Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin said on Wednesday that the process is moving along, as is the process to have a temporary structure in place to handle projects and programmes in the interim.
All projects and programme are to be funded via the Dutch Recovery Fund totalling some 550 million euros. The World Bank will manage the portion of the monies to be put into a trust fund.
