PHILIPSBURG–Postspaarbank (PSB) will soon launch a financial relief offer specifically for civil servants.
The offer follows discussions between bank management, Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin and Finance Minister Perry Geerlings.
Government, according to a statement from the prime minister, wants to seek assistance for civil servants who were immediately back at their post following Hurricane Irma in September 2017. Many civil servants sought to get government up and functioning and, in many cases, did not take care of their immediate needs. Those needs range from roof repairs, household damage and furniture replacement to debt consolidation.
Romeo-Marlin hopes PSB’s special offer will be helpful to many civil servants.
