Moisture and instability associated with an approaching low-level trough will enhance the chance for periods of cloudiness and showers across the local region. Meanwhile, light to gentle winds will prevail.

Long-period swells affecting coastal waters are expected to gradually subside within the next 24 to 48 hours. Small-craft operators and swimmers are advised to remain alert and exercise caution.
